about

This is the darkest song I have and was written in very tough time of my life, battling drug addiction. It speaks not only to those who can't find the way off of drugs but to those battling the depths of depression as well. I urge you if you are struggling with drugs or depression and feel like there is no way out, PLEASE call someone and get help. If you watch my video for Falling, youtu.be/TvPc7APZ9k8 it shows that drugs are not all fun and games. Not everyone parties recreationally. Some get stuck and can never get out of their addictions. I dedicated this song to one of my best childhood friends. She died of an accidental drug overdose at 32 years old. Not everyone who is falling can catch themselves.

lyrics

How am I supposed to sleep? I can't stop these voices inside me. Morning light is peaking in wondering where I've been. How will I feel tomorrow? Will I regret today? When I wake up in a state of daze what will my body say?

*I'm falling, about to lose control. I spread my arms like wings but somehow, I lose control. I'm falling deep into a dream. The ground is coming close but nothings what it seems.

Living in misery, there is no peace for me. Nothing seems to settle down looking through a tainted crown. Striving to revive me, wish I could be set free. The light is shining down on me and nobody knows... *

I can't tame these endless riddles and rhymes. Sitting here while I'm lost in time. But now I realize this isn't a king. I'm drowning here in my awakening. Falling.....
