This is a song I wrote about drinking wine in the bathtub....after a LONG, hard day. When life just keeps throwing things at you and you feel like you can't keep up, this is what "Slip Away" is all about.

Written in 2013 from my bathtub, in a dingy apartment, on a rough side of Sacramento.

I feel this world is pushing me, to be someone who's just not real. Hiding behind these open doors. One day will come I'll shine as bright as the sun, and walk away from it all. From it all. Yeah.

Put a little wine in this glass, a lot of bubbles in my bath. I'm gonna let this crazy day, slip away. Yeah.

I must be some kind of cat, cuz I always land upon my feet. Even though everything is pushing me. Throw another bill my way, another problem with my truck, I'm getting to the point where I can barely give a....
