about

This song is dedicated to my sister, who's pedicure lasted longer than her 1st marriage. She was with her high school sweetheart for 9 years. After their wedding, she realized just the type of relationship she was stuck in. We all thought she was happy. Most people put up a good front so no one knows how things really are behind closed doors. My sister is one amazing, bright human and I knew she needed to hear that her 'lights shined brighter than that small country town'.

If you are stuck in an abusive, toxic or unhealthy relationship, PLEASE reach out for help. There are many shelters and programs across the country that can find you a way out!
